The Toyota Glanza, a five-seater hatchback, is a sibling of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. It is available for sale in the Indian market from June 6, 2019, after which its next-gen model makes its debut on March 15, 2022, and now the facelift of the same is going to be launched on October 14, 2026, almost 4.5 years after the 2nd-gen model launch.

The date for the launch of the mid-life update for the rebadged Maruti Suzuki car is officially confirmed by Toyota India; they will launch it by holding an event. Let’s have a closer look.
Toyota Glanza facelift changes.
Toyota India will launch the Toyota Glanza facelift by organising an event where they won’t only showcase the car but also reveal the design changes and features update. Reports suggest that this upcoming hatchback under the banner of Toyota will all update and change that we get to see with the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift.
If the Glanza facelift receives upgrades the same as the Brezza facelift, it will also strengthen its positioning in the segment. Similar upgrades and changes mean this upcoming car will have an all-new grille with the Toyota-specific chrome detailing, an updated front bumper, and a revised headlights setup to make the front-end design totally different from the outgoing one.
The sides and rear are most anticipated to remain the same, with just a few upgrades such as refreshed dual-toned alloy wheels and tweaked taillamp setup. The additions of the Level 2 ADAS suite, ventilated front seats, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, in-built air purifier, and wireless smartphone charging pad are certain; because also added to the Breeza facelift.
Old ICE may be replaced with the new one on the Toyota Glanza facelift.
The outing Glanza gets a K12N 1.2-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine. In the upcoming facelift it may be replaced with the Z12E 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated unit with five-speed manual and automated manual transmission options, which delivers the power output of 83 hp and peak torque of 112 Nm.
A CNG model with a new internal combustion engine will also go on sale but only with the five-speed manual gearbox that may deliver the 70 hp power. The acceleration timing for 0 to 60 kmph, top speed and ARAI-certified fuel efficiency for both the pure petrol and CNG versions are expected to be revealed at the launch event.
The rest of the Toyota Glanza facelift will remain the same.
It is confirmed that there won’t be any changes to dimensions, seating layout, underpinning, and rest of all. The length, width, height, wheelbase, and ground clearance are set to remain 3,990 mm, 1,745 mm, 1,500 mm, 2,520 mm, and 170 mm, respectively. As a five-seater, it will have a cargo capacity of 318 litres for pure petrol, and CNG will have a little less because twin CNGs are fitted inside the boot.
The full tank capacity is set to remain 37 litres, with the 960 kg kerb weight. This hatchback will underpin the Suzuki’s Heartect Platform and feature the front-wheel-drive drivetrain. The front and rear suspension is certain to be MacPherson strut with coil springs and torsion beam with coil springs, respectively. The ventilated disc on the wheels and drum on the rear are present on the rear.
The price of the Toyota Glanza won’t remain the same; a little increase is anticipated. The current ones are available for sale with the ex-showroom price between ₹6.73 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh, so the updated one may cost starting from ₹7 lakh and go up to ₹11 lakh.
