Between the second half of 2026 and the last quarter of 2027, the Indian market will see the launch of five mid-size SUVs. They are the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift, the Skoda Kodiaq Sportline, the Mahindra Vision S, the Next-Gen Kia Sonet, and the Renault Bridge. Let’s have a closer look at each of these cars.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift

Maruti Suzuki may launch the Brezza facelift in the third quarter of 2026, whose ex-showroom price is anticipated to be between ₹9 lakh and ₹15 lakh. The carmaker will introduce it to the Indian market with a new front grille and bumper, making the front end distinct from the one already available for sale.
Other changes that it may get are a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, ventilated front seats, and a level 2 advanced driving assistant system. Expected to come with the 1,462 cc 1.5 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion engine, which generates the power of 102 hp and torque of 137 Nm.
Skoda Kylaq Sportline

Skoda will launch the Kylaq Sportline in September 2026, and the ex-showroom price may range between 13 and 15 lakh rupees. Outside, it will feature black ORVMs and a blackout roof, dark-finish alloy wheels, and smoked tail lamps. Comes with a 5-person seating capacity with 446 liters of boot space to make carrying luggage convenient.
Inside, it is set to get a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and connected car technology. It may come with a 999 cc, 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) petrol-powered ICE delivering the power of 113.3 hp and 178 Nm.
Mahindra Vision S

Mahindra showcased ‘Vision S’ as a concept last year on the occasion of Indian Independence Day. Recently, it was spotted testing on public roads in Tamil Nadu. They will introduce it to the Indian market for internal combustion engines and pure electric vehicles. They will launch the ICE in early 2027, after revealing it in 2026; an update on the EV version is still uncertain.
The production name of the upcoming mid-size car on the Vision S is still pending; the carmaker may reveal it in the near future. As of now, there’s no word on its launch. Reportedly, it will be available with the ex-showroom price starting from ₹11.50 lakh, and the top-end variant may go up to ₹18 lakh.
Next-Gen Kia Sonet

Kia is planning to introduce the next-gen Sonet in India in the second quarter of 2027; they may introduce it to the Indian market with an ex-showroom price between 8 and 16 lakh rupees. The length is anticipated to be around 4.2 meters with a wheelbase above 2.7 meters. Outside, it will feature a split headlight setup and large alloy wheels.
Inside, the carmaker gets two connected 12.3-inch screens, one in the center of the dashboard infotainment system and the other under the digital instrument cluster. The touchscreen will support over-the-air software updates, connected car technology, and wireless connectivity features via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth.
Renault Bridger

Renault will introduce the Bridger in the second half of 2026 with the ex-showroom price between ₹8 lakh and ₹13 lakh. The carmaker is developing it on the RGMP (Renault Group Modular Platform). Outside, it features an upright windshield, tailgate-mounted spare wheel, high ground clearance, squared wheel arches, and rugged bumper.
Inside, it features a large floating touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, ADAS features, and ventilated front seats. It may get a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine that may be mated with a 5-speed manual transmission, which may generate the power of 115 hp and a peak torque of 190 Nm.
