TVS 160cc Maxi-Scooter

It is officially confirmed that the TVS Motor Company will launch an all-new 160cc maxi-scooter in the Indian market by the second half of 2027. They haven’t yet revealed the production name and pricing; however, we expect that it will cost under 1.5 lakh rupees and be set to give tough competition to the other two-wheelers in the segment.
The powertrain details are still pending; reportedly, it will get a 160cc liquid-cooled internal combustion engine mated with a continuously variable transmission. The ICE may generate the power of 14+ bhp and peak torque around 15 Nm, which may accelerate it from 0 to 60 km/h in under 5 seconds. On both ends, it may get 14-inch wheels with a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.
Reportedly, it will get a large TFT touchscreen featuring Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and music control; ground clearance is expected to be around 160 mm, and the base may be the same as its sibling, the TVS Ntorq 150.
