Tata Nexon Spied

The upcoming 2027 Tata Nexon spotted the 18-inch alloy wheels that have a design similar to the wheels on which the ICE-powered Tata Curvv sits.

Tata Motors is working on introducing the next-generation Tata Nexon, replacing the one that is already on sale. This upcoming car is set to go on sale in the Indian market as a 2027 model. After the August 2026 sighting, it has been spotted again on public roads with heavy camouflage.

An Instagram page with the username TrakinAuto has shared a video of its mule, which shows a car wearing alloy wheels that are offered with the Tata Curvv. Notably, for the outgoing model, up to 16-inch alloys are offered, but the test mule is spied with the 18-inch option.

The use of larger-size alloy wheels is a clear hint from Tata Motors that the 2027 Tata Nexon will go on sale with different wheel size options. It is worth noting that many rivals in the segment either offer a 16-inch or 17-inch. The offering of 18 inches may strengthen the model positioning in the segment.

It is clearly visible in the spied video that the upcoming new-generation Tata Nexon will have petal-like alloy wheels enhancing the side view and also road presence. Except for the wheel design, the rest of the vehicle remains tightly under wraps.

Previous sightings have already revealed that the 2027 Tata Nexon is coming with many upgrades and changes to its exterior. Major design changes are certain on the front end and rear. The sides are most likely to remain the same as the outgoing model.

The upcoming next-generation Tata Nexon will feature a new grille and revised bumper at both ends, according to the report. Reports even suggest that there will also be tweaks and changes at the headlights and taillamps.

Dimensional changes are also expected for this new-generation Tata Nexon. A slight increase in the length and wheelbase is highly anticipated to enhance second-row passenger comfort by providing more legroom.

The seating layout of 2-3 will continue, but the boot space is expected to see an increase because of the improved wheelbase. While most interior features from the current model are expected to carry over, the several new additions are practically guaranteed to enhance convenience.

The features that are most likely for the 2026 Tata Nexon are a large touchscreen infotainment system with an Android-based operating system. It will support wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Connected car technology with OTA software updates and an AI-based voice assistant may also be offered.

An enhanced digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, a wireless phone charging pad on the center console, a USB-C-type charging port, ventilated front seats, powered windows, a tailgate, and an outside-rear view mirror are the features that are most likely for this upcoming next-generation Tata Nexon.

Tata Motor has not officially confirmed anything regarding the powertrain for the upcoming next-generation model. Reports suggest dash petrol and petrol CNG versions will go on sale, and then the car maker will introduce the all-electric counterpart.

It is still uncertain whether the existing powertrain for the pure petrol or CNG will be retained or whether they will introduce the new internal combustion engine. Similarly, the things regarding the pure-electric version are unconfirmed.

As of now, there’s no update on the next-generation Tata Nexon launch date in India. However, reports suggest it will happen in the first quarter of 2027. This upcoming model will solidify the vehicle’s segment positioning and drive higher monthly sales.
