The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is a sporty 160cc naked street motorcycle that has been available for sale in the Indian market since 2017. Recently this motorcycle’s updated version was spotted testing on public roads in India, with the spy shots of the same floating on the internet.
Reportedly, the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS160 launch will happen as the 2026 model. The spied images of this upcoming bike have revealed the changes with which this upcoming bike will go on sale.
Sighting has revealed more details.
The upcoming 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has been spotted testing with many upgrades. The spy shots have revealed the use of WP-branded upside-down frocks at the front suspension, a rectangular TFT display between the handlebars, and revised switchgear on both sides.
We can clearly see this upcoming bike without any camouflage in the black-and-red color scheme. Other details such as the muscular fuel tank, angular tank extensions, split seats, and underbelly exhaust are the exterior design elements that remain the same as the outgoing model.
TFT displays may support wireless connectivity and more.
The 5-inch TFT that can be seen on the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS160 motorcycle is anticipated to come with the features that we get to see on the recently updated models from Bajaj, as per reports.
Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts are the key features that are most likely, although things regarding their offering are still unofficial.

Reports even suggest that the TFT display will also have a document storage system to help riders keep their crucial documents, such as registration certificate, driving license, insurance, and pollution under control certificate, under control.
Rest may be retained.
The spied images and reports have made it clear apart from the upgrades and improvements that we mentioned above, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will be the same in the rest. It means the powertrain and performance, braking, design, and dimensions and all remain familiar to the outgoing model.
The 160.3 cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, petrol-powered internal combustion engine will continue to be mated with a five-speed manual transmission that cranks 17 PS at 9,000 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Reportedly, the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration timing and top speed will also be familiar.
Regarding fuel efficiency, nothing is officially for the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS160. For reference, the outgoing version has ARAI-certified mileage of 52.2 kmpl, and the real world is 44 kmpl. As there’s no powertrain or major mechanical changes, we expect it to remain the same.
The Nitrox monoshock with canister as the rear suspension is set to be retained, and the underpinning on the perimeter frame is also officially done, because no change for it is reported. The outgoing model features disc brakes on both ends with a 300 mm diameter on the front and 200 mm on the rear.
The double-channel anti-locking braking system is also available on the existing version that avoids wheel locking during the sudden braking. And the single-piston and two-piston for the front and rear brakes are available, respectively.
Launch may happen around Diwali 2026.
The Bajaj Auto is yet to confirm the date on which they will launch the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS160. A few reports suggest this motorcycle launch around Diwali 2026. Even regarding the ex-showroom price, nothing is officially.
Reportedly, a little increase in the price for the 2026 version may be seen because of the features. For reference, the curent model cost ₹1.26 lakh. If even the Bajaj increases the price by around ₹5 thousand, the price will reach around ₹1.30 lakh.
